Our portfolio includes the 20.5 MW Lower Bagmati Nadi Hydropower Project (LBNHPP) and the 9.55 MW Middle Myagdi Hydropower Project (MMHP). Hydropower Excellence in Action

Lower Bagmati Hydropower Project

Lower Bagmati HPP

A flagship 20.5 MW Run-of-River project harnessing the Bagmati River in Lalitpur and Makwanpur. It features a 94.14 m net head and is designed for an annual energy production of 121.75 GWh.

Middle Myagdi Hydropower Project

Middle Myagdi HPP

A high-potential 9.55 MW scheme on the Myagdi Khola in Gandaki Province. This project utilizes a 28 m gross head to contribute a clean annual energy output of 54.15 GWh to the national grid.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our projects follow a Run-of-River (RoR) design, which is environmentally friendly. We strictly adhere to maintaining 10% of the minimum monthly flow as downstream release to preserve aquatic life and conduct full environmental examinations (IEE/EIA) for every site.

Based on current technical feasibility, we estimate a construction period of approximately 4 years for our primary projects. This timeline accounts for civil works, electromechanical installation, and transmission line development.

The Lower Bagmati HPP will connect to the Integrated Nepal Power System (INPS) via a 23.5 km, 132 kV single-circuit transmission line, while the Middle Myagdi HPP will utilize a 33 kV circuit to the nearest NEA substation.
